Developing Innovation
It's impossible to know where the next great idea will come from. But it is possible to think ahead regarding the future of our industries, and to work toward anticipating changes that could alter how we do business. To promote this kind of "possibility thinking", we must create environments that are open to new ideas - that welcome a different way of looking at how we work. This course teaches us how to must create environments that nurture innovation.
In this workshop, we'll work to understand the following:
- The forces that prevent us from welcoming innovation
- How we can develop a more innovative business culture
- Industry specific reasons for resisting change, and how this resistance can be overcome
- How we can better anticipate the future of our industry
The most interactive workshop offered by Dalton Alliances, Inc., no two sessions are ever alike. Using video, group and individual exercises, we'll identify the paradigms that currently exist within the different functional areas of your organization, and even in your own job. We'll then work to identify how these paradigms might change, and study the possible improvements suggested by these potential changes.
